Featherstone Calls is a small, one-person operation built on a passion for waterfowl hunting and craftsmanship. My journey began in 2020 when I became fascinated by the idea of turning wood into something that could truly sound like a duck. It didn’t take long to realize just how challenging that was! After hundreds of prototypes and years of fine-tuning, I finally created a call that met my standards—one that I was proud to use in the field and share with others. That was the original Lady May, a Hybrid Mallard call that has a lot of hold on the top and bottom end, which allows for the hunter to call ducks both from afar and in close. Josh P
